    Thank you for making this video. The instructions that come with the unit are not helpful. Do you think you could do another video but take more time to show the parts in detail and how you are doing left and right? I couldn’t follow what you were showing- sorry.

    • @samowens44
      @samowens44 2 дні тому

      @MrSandc41, What you are asking me to do is take my awning apart and video the entire process close up of each part as it goes together. Look at my video again please, I start out by showing you to lay the poles out in grouping order. Look at parts list and pictures to see the different pole letters. There are a lower group of poles for left and another group for right, then there are upper groups of poles left and right. As you look at the video I show laying out the lower left and right pole mountings along with the upper mountings left and right. I show the assemble of the left poles and how you screw the parts together. I can not move the camera, I am alone, so I can only show and describe as I go. This is an exceptionally long video already at over 24 min. I think, if you get a big area and lay out the parts as the instructions show you, then use my video step by step to assemble the poles, I think you will be able to do it. I don't see how I could make a video and show every detail of how to assemble this. Maybe get someone else to watch the video and see if they could help you some. You can just tell me what part are you not able to do, or is it just getting started. Watch the video and pause it, go try the step, come back and restart the video, and maybe that will work. Good Luck.

    Hi Sam. Maybe you know how to run all the program in a round, one by one? I programmed 3 program for every tube. So, I need all this 6 program every day run. How to activate this way?

    • @samowens44
      @samowens44 2 дні тому

      @gennadyklepikov969, You say 6 programs, but there are only 3 programs to work with. Now the part you need to do is Program 1, you have two outputs Zone 1 and 2, as part of your programming, set up Zone1 for the time to start, how long and the rest, then under program 1 setup Zone2 for the start , how long. You will do this for each of the programs, P1,P2, and P3. I think you will see that both outputs can have different times. When you are in P1, set Zone1 to the time to start. Hit Zone key to go to Zone 2 and set it to the time, can be the same or different. Go to P2 do the same and P3 the same. There you have your 6 times that will just run as you have programmed.

      Thanks, Sam. But I still need your help. I programmed : Zone 1 Program 1 at 7.00 a.m, Zone 1 Program 2 at 13.00, Zone 1 program 3 at 19.00. Zone 2 program 1 at 10.00 a.m ; Zone 2 program 2 at 16.00 ; Zone 2 program 3 at 22.00. I need somehow to make it run. Unsuccessful yet… Maybe you can help. One more question, how to restart this gadget to clean up all the program? Just take out battery does not helped.

    • @samowens44
      @samowens44 День тому

      @@gennadyklepikov969 You must also set the how long and how often for each program zone. Be careful when using Ok and Set, the set saves the setting, Ok moves to the next setting and Ok will delete a setting. I suggest setting a test setting just P1 zone 1 and zone 2 to the next day. Set both zones before you hit set to go to how long, and do this all the way through. When you are complete leave on Auto and that starts the timer running for all your programs. When you get it set right, you can push any button and see Next Zone1 and the time to start. I did find you must have at least 1 day set in advance for it to work. I messed up a few times before I got it working correctly. Just set times 2 min duration and then you will see the zone is on when you see water drop icon at the times they are suppose to come on. Oh, to delete a program timer, just set how long to zero for each program you do not want. Off turns timer off and does not run.

    Just throwing this out there for those who want to use these kill switches as an antitheft deterrent. Wouldn't the thief be able to go under the hood and disassemble the relay and then hook up the battery in a normal fashion, and then proceed to hotwire your vehicle to steal it? I could see where it would be more time consuming but still possible to disable the relay and steal your vehicle anyway.

    • @samowens44
      @samowens44 8 днів тому

      @williamtwaddle38 good question and I will tell my experience of 4 months driving it to our grocery store, bank and YMCA. My trip to grocery store is 6 miles round trip. With full charge start. I have 4 green bars when arriving home. Bank trip is 12 miles round trip. I do get down to 3 bars, just slightly let up on speed and all 4 green bars. At that rate in Florida with no hills, I feel 30 miles for sure. To get 40 miles, you would need to cut speed from 24kmh to about 18. 24 is 15mph. To get 40 you have to throttle down a bit. I feel the scooter has a very good range at full speed. At least 30 miles. I will test my scooter full speed for a 30 mile round trip and show how much power is left. Next week, watch for my video.

    I’m wanting to connect one to the power side of my electric fans in my Javelin. How would I wire it to this to shut off only the fans? I’m assuming I’d take the main power from the battery and put it somewhere on this relay instead?

    • @samowens44
      @samowens44 13 днів тому

      @FasterNLouder on the relay there are two lugs with nuts. This is your switch contacts. When the relay is off the contacts are closed and with power lead on one lug it will pass to the other lug and onto the fan. When you operate relay with remote, the lugs open the contact and the fan will no longer get power. That simple. The black and red leads from the relay need to have Pos and Grd on them to power the relay.

    • @FasterNLouder
      @FasterNLouder 13 днів тому

      @@samowens44 the way that I’m understanding this, is that I would have to run the main ground for my fan relays to this disconnect relay and leave everything else on the negative post of the battery. The other option would be running the main power for the fans to this relay and then attaching it to the positive post of the battery with everything else still connected to the positive post of the battery like normal.

      @@DelicateInferno That is ok, but I only can tell you something about the model I show in the video. I know nothing about any other models. Here is a link to my video to click on before you purchase you Scooter, amzn.to/3VjSXUA I will get a commission on any scooter you purchase if you watch some of it before purchasing within 24 hours of watching. Thanks, and by all means give me your questions. Thanks for your comments.

      You're welcome! I think my questions would pertain to both models from what I've seen in pictures. How do you make it go? Like, do you have to hold a handle like a motorcycle, or? I watched your video about that but it wasn't clear. I own a Pride Revo 2.0 4 wheel right now, and I pull the little lever on the top of the tiller to make it go.

    Thank you! This was so easy and worked. The dealership wanted me to buy a new third light!

      @joeystephens2475 you have to isolate the problem, you should always do test on each item and narrow down really what is causing a problem. Glad my video helped.

    GREAT FOR NON ECU CARS. INSTALL THIS TO AN ECU CAR AND IT WILL DRAIN THE ECU, MEANING WHEN YOU RE-CONNECT AND START THE ECU IS RE-SET TO FACTORY SPECS. WITH SOME CARS IT MIGHT NOT BE A PROBLEM, BUT MANY CARS THAN HAVE TO GO AND RE-LEARN AS YOU DRIVE, WARM UP PROCEDURE IS PART OF THAT. MY EXPLORER HAS A WARM UP PROCEDURE TO TEACH THE ECU AND STORES THAT INFORMATION, ALL OF THAT IS LOST EVERY TIME THE BATTERY IS DISCONNECTED FOR LONGER THAN AROUND 5 MINUTES. THE WARM UP LEARNING PART FOR THE ECU FOR MY EXPLORER TAKES AROUND 10 MINUTES. NOT ALL CARS WITH AN ECU WORK THAT WAY, BUT MOST DO. OF COURSE YOU CAN RE START YOUR CAR AND DRIVE IT, BUT IT IS SET TO FACTORY SPECS.

    Thank you - the instructions I received with my pump weren’t up to much! Your clear directions have made me feel much more confident as a first-time user. I'm off to try it out now and empty my ice plunge pool. :)
